Adding two schools was a given. Making the statement that you have to add two schools first was not part of the premise and is classic dissembling. The point is if you add two schools that bring their own value you make a lot more provided your total for the two games is absurdly high. If not, you can't afford to add two schools to just get a playoff if they aren't valued high enough as product themselves. And saying adding two teams justifies the expense is neither here nor there. You either add two teams that pay their own way or you don't.

JR to be clear, I am not in any way being obtuse. What I said is absolutely correct. In fact, it is YOU who is being obtuse, nad failing to comprehend thoroughly how it woudl work accounting wise. and I am sorry if you cannot see it any other way. That is not my problem. You are as bad or worse than the people you claim do sai dthings, but tend to believe your position as a mod makes up immune. Often it simply prevents others who disagree with you from engaging with you, since you flip your lid so easily.

If adding two teams is an absolutely necessity to achieve said goal, and it cannot be done without them, and the existing teams cannot get the extra revenue without adding teams, then it is very reasonable, if not necessary, to attribute the first dollars to them, to pay for their admission, with the remainder being new revenue. This is obtuse: that's damn solid logic. The same logic, I shall remind you, they used to add Nebraska, since Nebraska did not add any revenue to their primary TV packages upon admission, since they were locked in, save for the CCG, which is precisely how the Big Ten accounted for it. Obtuse my ass: it's the same damn thing they already did. You need to calm down, and stop being so damn defensive.

I don't care if YOU tire of what I am saying, you just have a bad habit of refusing to believe anything you say is incorrect. Newsflash: a lot of what you claim is in fact incorrect. And this would be an example of bad accounting, since if you cannot have said game without expansion, just like they could not have a CCG without Nebraska, and they accounted for it then by taking the extra revenue off the top to pay Nebraska's share, and split the rest. Same thing here.

Claiming mod abuse isn't going to change what you do. You are a total waste of time and a pain in the butt to many threads. If it was going to be mod abuse you would have been banned long ago. I'm not the only mod to have had issues with your constant derailing of threads with asinine arguments like this one.

I meant what I said about your M.O. as well. It is not only off putting here, but would be in most places in society. Keep it up, it will come back to bite you big time. If not here, elsewhere. JR
