They may have fell into a good pick with Dak Prescott.
Like all mid round QB's, he has some flaws. But he has a lot of tools you can develop too. He also improved dramatically with his decision making and reads each year at MSU. Most importantly, the guy can move in the pocket and he can make plays down the field while he is scrambling, much like Paxton and Romo do.
27 TD to 11 INT's in 2014 and 29 TD to 5 INT's in 2015.
They obviously have to develop him and improve his mechanics, but I would suggest he has more raw talent than any other QB on the roster since Romo took over. I think he could be a lot better pick than Conner Cook, but time will tell.

Connor Cook just doesn't seem like a good human being. I think the Cowboys were fortunate to not get him.

Same here.
Cowboys claim it wasn't a big issue because he has no real history of those kids of problems. Character and leadership intangibles are actually big strengths he is known for.
He sounds like a guy who has a good head on his shoulders in interviews. He is known as a very driven player who will do his homework and get better every year. Most scouts were very impressed with his field vision his SR year.
