The place should be a target of the war on drugs. There's no way they don't put crack in that food

So you're unable to cook it at home?

One does not simply make chic-fil-a at home.

I prefer to use my hard earned money to eat local, and help the local economy...

moreover, are you upset that I foresaw the impending purchase of my employer and got out while the gettin' was good?

I stared looking Feb 11...

Chick-fil-a has very good fast food. I eat their salads quite often, too. They do a great job.

My nephew lives in NYC. There was a lot of threats of protests and boycotts leading up to the opening of one there. Never materialized. Instead people are wrapped around the building every minute they're open.

He says, one thing they can't get their heads around, though, is the closing on Sunday.

I'm fortunate enough to have one near my home and near my office.

Even after they're explained why, they still can't wrap their heads around it?

went to the Memphis vs UAB game at Bartow in 2013...it was a late game so we stayed the night...had breakfast at Ted's the next morning, and man that place was REALLY good.

Y'all should read up in the chickfila corporate structure. They don't just let anyone with money buy up franchises. The owner has to be an owner operator, and they don't actually own the franchise, they basically lease it for $10k initially. Very few have more than 1 franchise as well.

I've been told that to get one you also have to have worked for Chick-Fil-A for a certain period of time as well.

It's apparently a pretty rigorous process. I know a guy that worked in corporate before going back to law school and he made it seem like quite the ordeal. They get deep into an applicant's past. They will disqualify people for things like having a divorce in their past (unless a few years have passed) and even follow applicants to the bathroom to make sure they wash their hands. That part makes sense, though. If the owner doesn't practice basic hygiene, how can they expect him to enforce it on the employees.
