RE: NC State football
Some games at old Foreman Field stand out:
*3-0 win over Southern Miss
*A game with Yale---the only time we've ever played Yale---in which both teams wore white uniforms
due to Yale bring down their home unis by mistake.
*Several routs of VMI
It used to be a big deal when a William & Mary team played in Norfolk (no ODU then), a major recruiting aid when we used to heavily recruit in that area, and big for the Norfolk alums.

I love Foreman Field. I was very happy when ODU decided to renovate it instead of building a new stadium. That clamshell design is a classic

Damn I thought they were keeping the clamshells with the expansion. What's the point then? Just tear the whole thing down. No one cares about the endzone seating

We pumped a great deal of money into the Ainslie complex, so we're keeping that. Everything else gets demolished and rebuilt in phases. Not ideal, but we need something new. I'm sure the pictures have made the rounds already, but here's some more:
Phase 1 is the dreaded 22k. Bye bye clamshells. North endzone untouched.
Phase 2 is the good stuff. 30k, mostly seatbacks, top of the line across the board. Apologies for the slight thread derail.

I really liked that Ainslie complex when it was contrasted with the older parts of the stadium. It was a super cool old school meets new school look. I'm sure it will still look good in the new stadium but I feel like ODU had a real opportunity to do something unique architecturally but that probably would have come at a high cost.

Not many do so, especially when there are established guys ahead of them.
I'd go slower rather than faster with the kid. There is some talent already at this position that did pretty well last year. By years end I predict he will be a big part of the offense.
Oh, our WM Sports Bog writers put the author of this article to shame! I think they just looked at a stay sheet an developed there opinion of our team. TE has depth, RB has depth.
We'll see in a week how this goes. It's not going to be easy, but it can be done.

Much appreciated! We're actually working in tandem with "Backing the Pack" on a Q&A to set the story straight -- we've submitted our answers to their questions (to be published on their blog shortly), and are in the process of receiving their answers to our questions (to be published on our blog).
We didn't hold back on both our answers and our questions, and we're hoping to get some serious inside scoop from them.
We believe. Both WMSBers will be at the game. Roll Damn Tribe.

Loads of tickets available on StubHub, including many in sections 1 & 9, which are supposed to be for the visitors. All of W&M's tickets for sale through our ticket office are in section 9, which is in the second deck. Tickets are MUCH cheaper on Stubhub than thru W&M as well...
