RE: NFL Draft
According to pro football reference, we have 10 active players in the NFL.
the same source says only Marshall and La Tech from CUSA have more, as do former CUSA teams UCF and SMU.
and yet somehow Bailiff is 37-35 lifetime in CUSA.
OK put the band aid back on it.

RE: NFL Draft
Pretty decent showing by CUSA in this year's draft
SEC - 51 picks
Big Ten - 47 picks
Pac 12 - 32 picks
ACC - 26 picks
Big 12 - 26 picks
American - 10 picks
Conference USA - 10 picks
Mountain West - 9 picks
MAC - 5 picks
Sun Belt - 3 picks
I didn't think we'd have anyone drafted this year. Who will be our next drafted player?

I really like Lyons and think that he could find a way onto some draft boards depending on the outcome of next season. Also, I could see Sam Stewart building a case over the next few years if he can find a way to get enough touches - he was electric when given the opportunity. Outside of that, not sure. I wonder if one of our OL will finally do something worth a draft selection, I feel like outside of QB, we haven't had anyone worth a damn in regards to the NFL draft at that position in a long time. Is there another position where we have produced such dismal results?

Or the fact that there was the first player drafted who has never played football in North America before. German guy who plays wide receiver for the Schwabisch Hall Unicorns of the German Football League. Of course, he happened to run a 4.43 40 yard dash in a tryout in Florida, so that helps.

Looking at the positive side, that's encouraging news for those that thought they'd see a unicorn drafted before a Rice Owl. Now that's out of the way...

This might have had something to do with it....
