Thanks for admitting it's an image.... Years of thoughtless and shallow critiques from the rich and famous in Hollywood and the media will do that. 20% of married households do not include an employed person but the *IMAGE* which is getting out there is one of the *huge* economic success of Obama..

Not a huge fan of the GOP but I am voting them straight ticket. Might pull the lever for the Dem running for county dog catcher.

I do wonder what part of that 62% is still solid R but is just depressed with the state of affairs within the party. It's a broken party right now and the problem is we can't have a functioning govt. because of the Hastert rule. It hasn't escaped me that a pedophile is still somehow haunting us.

And that is why 2 "outsiders" are leading for the nomination.

After the Nov 2012 election, I stopped being a republican. In fact, I consider the GOP to be very similar to the Dems. We have a duopoly where we see the public bickering to give the illusion of differences. However, the reality is quite different. No doubt the fringes of both parties have megaphones and that is all we hear. However, the reality is quite different and the distinctions between a typical rank and file Dem are small compared a typical rank and file Repub.

I don't like it either, but I will vote for it in Federal elections.

Wait for the general election pivot.

I will soon be 59 and have been voting since 1975. I have yet to vote for a single GOP candidate in any national, state, county or local election, ever.

Even I've voted for dems before. Of course when Roy Moore is your chief justice it's easy to vote for a dem compared to him.
