From the article, he scored 18...

Again, not much should be made from these scores. Perusing this list posted on a site called Wonderlic Test Sample, you’ll find plenty of guys with low Wonderlic scores who went on to have fantastic NFL careers and those with high Wonderlic scores who didn’t amount to much in the NFL.

Here are some former NFL QBs who scored lower on the Wonderlic than Lynch:
Dan Marino 16
Terry Bradshaw 16
Jim Kelly 15
Randall Cunningham 15
Donovan McNabb 14

And on the other end of the spectrum:
Greg McElroy 48
Jason Maas 43
Drew Henson 42
Ryan Nassib 41
Bruce Eugene 41
Hugh Millen 41

This story gets recycled about every 2 years right before the draft.

The wonderlic has a long history of idiocy in its results.

After the first few hits to the head, they'll all be scoring 18, so what's the big deal?

I wonder if at least some of that difference is brushing up on your basic math skills and picking up a book on vocabulary words before the test --- and, of course, practicing the actual test itself.

It's just a standardized test. It has no claims to predicting NFL talent.

Reminds me of the same experts who said Cam wouldn't make it in the NFL and how he sucked and that Tebo would flourish.....

I told u Dudes months ago the Dude. had some i.q. issues, nobody listened. Gave the example, the Dude couldn't bust the Navy zone or pick up the temple blitz, says it all. Hope I'm wrong, but the street says the Dude is falling like a rock
