No, it actually isn't that surprising to those of us who don't think the fact that more black people are shot by police means that the police are biased against black people.

As for the claims that you can get away with shooting a black person more easily, where do you get that from? It's not like every time a policeman shoots someone that the police department doesn't look the situation over to see if it was justified or not.

You forget, if a black runs towards the cops, shouting he's going to shoot, from the gun in his hand, and the cop doesn't go to prison for defending himself, he got away with something.

As long as we're throwing out anecdotes here, have you forgotten about what happened in Ferguson? A lot of hullabaloo over a black teen shot by a white cop who was later exculpated by Eric Holder's own DoJ investigation.

And in the cop you are referring to is up for murder charges, so what does that have to do with a cop being able to get away with shooting a black kid unjustifiably?

In Obama's home of Chicago with his hand picked mayor who used to be in his cabinet, their police department covered up things. I remember that.
