FAU bats have just gone cold the last two weeks.
I hope they can get it going or it could be a ugly last couple weeks to the season.

Really worried about the FAU series for USM.

If it was at PTP I would feel much better about it.

I'm probably going to jinx it but I'm surprised we've got through 6 weeks of CUSA play and everyone has played all 18 CUSA games. I realize some games have been a DH on either Friday, Saturday or Sunday but to not miss a conference game this far into the season is unusual.

100% chance of rain this Saturday in Houston with more possible on Sunday.

Just announced: Due to the impending weather, Charlotte @Rice will start with a Friday doubleheader beginning at 3 p.m. (Central time). The second game will start 45 minutes after the first concludes. The series finale is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. Saturday, with Sunday as a backup option.

RE: 4/29 - 5/1 weekend baseball
Rice just announced a schedule change for the weekend series with Charlotte, due to weather concerns. Doubleheader tomorrow (3:00 pm and 7:00 pm) with a single game on Saturday (if possible) or Sunday (more likely)

As others have posted the schedule has been changed due to rain. We don't need any more rain down here though. The reservoirs that protect parts of downtown Houston from significant flooding during rain events are already at 102.5 ft deep and are only meant to handle a max of 100 ft at the dams. Going to take 4-6 weeks for the roads around those areas to be passable as is.

The ODU / UAB series is HUGE for both teams. The Monarchs have lost 6 of their last 7. UAB has an 11 day road swing and we've only won once this year on the road. The Blazers have to go .500 during this stretch to remain in the hunt for Hattiesburg IMO.

USM starts off with a single, walk, fly out and then a HR. USM up 3-0 and still batting in T1

5-3 FAU in the 4th down in Boca.

Cockrell has been ripped by FAU. USM got to Stewart early with the three run shot but has only gotten a pair of hits over the last few innings.
