The guy his 6'5 and weighs 235. Fits the size of a defensive end. Potential first QB picked. NIU needs these kind of QB's to go to the next level.

He hurt his arm pitching and couldn't play QB his junior year of high school. He must not have gone to any camps either. The only FBS school that even talked to him was Central Michigan.

Let’s not forget, the style of offense plays a major role too. There are a lot of people in NFL circles that believe the types of offense a lot of colleges run don’t do a good enough job developing players for the next level.

When it comes to QB, I'm sure that includes NIU. How many dual-option QBs make it in the NFL? A few can make the switch to a different position, but not many.

It's no secret that the majority of college offenses don't do a good job at preparing players for the NFL. Look at Baylor, they have one of the best offenses but yet their players continue to struggle in the NFL. Even Offensive Tackles are no longer sure things if they are a top 10 pick.

Great arm. His highlights showed that he can run too. Would've looked good in a Huskie Jersey.

Because we've had really crappy QBs the last ten years?

Not what I was saying. Looks a little more durable than Hare and I don't see Hare going in the First round of anything.
