Please accept this sincere apology on behalf of Blazertalk for the insensitive actions of one of our own. I found this post and thread extremely offensive. I have removed the pictures and Pmed the poster.
I do find it amazing that so many people found it offensive, (Which I did myself) and yet copied and pasted the damn picture so many times…..gees.

For those who want to continue to crack on attendance, pick a new fight. I recall last year after we visited the Rock many USM posters said that we brought one of the largest visiting crowds in over 10 years. (Yes, that includes your traveling party Memphis.) Pick something new to bi*ch about. It’s not like we have had a program 70-100 years, what’s your (Other teams in C-USA) excuse? We are not last in C-USA in football attendance old or new C-USA so get off it. Last I checked we were third in basketball attendance as well. So before you throw stones fill your own damn stadium. Try filling an 83,000 seat stadium (10th largest in the nation) Hell our crowds would look GREAT in the Rock. Of cours some of our crowds wouldn't fit because we have drawn over 35K several times.
Please note that the pictures are not even of the same game, the darker pictures were from last year (Another Tiger loss) while the crowd shot was three or four years ago. You should have included some pics of the many UAB touchdowns against that stellar D and I remember one of Wimprine fumbling after a vicious hit. I also remember one of Deangelo on his arse…..

Most posters likely just quoted your blazer partner and did not take the time to put the horse back in the barn (delete the picture).

Your ill timed off base comment about that was even sillier.

As I tell my kids (and you). An apology is worthless if it includes an excuse or another offense.

Spare us the self-righteous self-serving tripe. UAB has an adequate basketball fan base, a questionable football base, a decent basketball team that had a few NCAA wins uder its belt, and a decent football team that has a whammy on Memphis.

That is all the respect they have earned.

Sorry but if the pictures bother everyone so much (Which they did me), simply remove the picture. It's not that hard. I removed them all myself. The guy made an a$$ of himself and embarrassed all Blazer fans, I apologized on our behalf, the pictures are gone, It’s over.
