MVP?
Has there ever been a player who was more valuable to his team than David Robinson was to Navy the year they went to the Elite Eight?

RE: MVP?
How about that! I would have to say that the Admiral is my favorite NBA of recent years.

RE: MVP?
In my mind Horace Mann will always be associated with Henry Basey, the great sprinter from the 1960's. When I was in junior high, he and Carl Lowe of NLR would go head to head every week. As I recall, in the state meet, they both ran 9.6 in the 100 yards, but at the Meet of Champs, Basey kicked it down to 9.5. As you can see on the attached link, Basey's time in the 100 (adjusted from yards) stood unchallenged for 12 years.

Remember Basey and Lowe well. Saw both of them run several times. They both could fly.
