With assault rifles and helicopters, hear students are bring evacuated from library. Hope it's just a scare. Stay safe guys.

Yeah looks like someone posted on social media a second hand account stating someone that was praying while also appearing to be holding a gun. Got up the chain from there. I'm not holding my breath over this one. Doesn't seem like anything legit as far as an actual threat is concerned.

But I guess in this age we live in, better safe than sorry?

The student also posted it in their nursing FB group, rather than anywhere more visible or through 911. So yeah, we'll see. Hopefully not a modern version of pulling a fire alarm during finals week.

It appears to be all clear. No threats found.

Ah, ok. I was going by UCF PD stating the response was originally triggered by the FB post. But glad it was nothing. I'll be interested to hear what exactly triggered the students thinking there was a gun.
