This facility would be worth it for Vegas

I would go just to gamble.

My wife and I are going Vegas for the first time in a couple of weeks. We're doing Utah's the Mighty Five for the first week and then spending time in Vegas. Maybe Elvis can marry us.

Its been that way for the past 15-20 years or so...as Entertainment, Dining, Clubs, Pool Parties and Shopping options have never been greater.

It wasn't that long ago when only 2 states had Casinos (NV and NJ), now 33 states have casinos...yet Vegas continues to be as popular as ever...as Vegas has changed.

Percentage of total $$ taken in by tourists off gambling in Vegas has been shrinking...as plenty of non-gamblers now come to Vegas in huge numbers...as most are spending a ton of $$$ on non-gambling activities in Vegas.

Yes!

Maybe Aresco stops at a table and puts our TV contract on black... who knows what could happen!

Maybe if we are lucky the big ten will bet their contract.

Interesting....my best friend lives there and he thinks this is a done deal. I just text him your post asking him for the latest developments...
Cheers!

While Raiders are trying to use any option to help land some type of stadium deal in Oakland area...it will be up to the NFL...which has always wanted to void any gambling/pt spread type scenarios that can impact game play/outcomes. (NFL Commish doesn't consider Fantasy Football as having a direct impact on play of games/outcomes).

So even if Raiders say they have a stadium/deal for Vegas....that will mean squat as the NFL will have final say if they relocate or not...hence the main reason for Gene's statement above (i.e. doesn't think NFL will ever approve a team to be based in Vegas...even though NFL will have 6 teams playing games in London each year which has legal sports gambling in almost neighborhood. maybe thinking is since no team is based there...they won't be influenced by just 1 game for a few teams each year).
