Pastor flees flooded home in Louisiana
But not just any pastor...

http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/article/37...ooded-home

"US pastor Tony Perkins, who believes natural disasters are sent by God to punish gay people, has fled his flooded home in Louisiana."

He must be gay adjacent. God was unable to differentiate which particular houses were gay and so he had to flood the whole area to get 'em. It's the only plausible explanation.

I saw that.

I'd like to express my condolences to the thousands of people in Louisiana impacted by the floods.

If you'd just stop being gay, this would stop happening.

Lucky here in New Orleans. We've been relatively unscathed. On a personal level, 3 friends have lost their homes so far. One very lucky in that their house is the island in a lake at the moment.

Guessing gay people live in his zip code. They deserve it.

NO should have all of the badass pumps that can get rid of the water quickly. Probably not the case for most areas slightly above sea level.

Some of those storms came up through here. Part of my yard flooded that has never done so before, so I know those guys down there got nailed.

I've heard of El Niño and La Niña weather patterns. What would you call this one?

La Niño, the gender confused weather pattern.

Correct. We also have vegetation used to flooding so it sops it up as well. Less saturation for the ground to deal with.

RE: Pastor flees flooded home in Louisiana
I feel bad for the people that are suffering through this catastrophe. But, I also can't understand why people would live on land that is below sea level. It's like living in a dry swimming pool that gets filled with water every so often. It's crazy.

I can't even imagine the mosquitoes afterward. That alone would make me move.

Hang in there and God bless you all.
