Lots of winners tonight. None more than the Tiger players.

If you believe the Memphis job is a better job than Minnesota and Texas Tech (all the so-called pundits say it is), AND, if you believe it's easier to recruit to Memphis than either of those places (I've heard that a bunch too), then is it reasonable to think that maybe the recruiting classes will be ... better?

Please just let Tubby run things as he sees fit and all will be good.
I just wish everybody wouldn't follow the media off the huge cliff they jump off at every opportunity. They make virtually every molehill the Memphis version of Mt. Everest.

Agree. Good stuff 450. Please try to keep folks level headed around here. They seem to listen to you. It's been hard to check this place out lately.

We may struggle some for upcoming year. If Tubs can build a good program this year, the recruits will come.
If we do very well, the program will be the recruiting tool for upcoming classes.

How does Tubby live with a guy on his staff that basically said "do this or else..."? That probably won't be easy to forget.

I fought the Lawson's and the Lawson's didn't win.

Still have to get the waiver but Tubby called his bluff.

I'd be a lot more sympathetic toward tubby if this whole fight wasn't about putting his unqualified son on the staff. Especially after he made sure his unqualified son played for him at Kentucky

Forreal. I would take Keelon over Saul based on his coaching abilities alone. Nevermind the fact that Keelon is a walking NBA factory.

Well he had been a head coach since 2003 before coming on staff...

They seem awfully confident about the waiver given the 'situation'.

All of this delay....just so Tubby can put Saul as his 3rd assistant? There is not one high level recruiter on this staff, including the head coach. It's ridiculous.

we had high level recruiters on the last staff

We haven't had a recruiter since Josh recruited for Cal.

My understanding is that it's possible have both recruiters and coaching on a coaching staff.
