Sidearm Sports, The Man Behind Your College Athletics Website
A good chance your college's sports website is run by Sidearm Sports

For David St....yes, Arkansas Tech is a client.

Here is a quick story on the guy who put it all together. A funny story...I actually talked to Jeff on the phone frantically about 15 years ago to get a Cuse radio broadcast working.

CBSinteractive does ECU's sports site.

Just had to be different, I guess.

Out of C-USA, only MTSU, FIU, UTSA and UTEP use this service.

Yeah I suppose we could bleat on 24/7 about realignment scenarios

The only point is: Some folks are inquisitive about Sports Media and this is a major player.

So the point is to point out the obvious? Sidearm is a major player.

If this bothers you...click and move on. Not sure why the animus? The team you purport to follow even uses them.

The firm started with 1 team 2 decades ago and now is closing in on 1000 teams/conferences. I thought it would be interesting to point out.

We don't want relevant material only speculation on what teams are going to the Great Midwest Conference

Ill add to the discussion they also do the live streaming for the OVC digital network and it is absolutely terrible i rarely get to watch more than half a game. There technical support is manned with idiots who have no idea why it doesnt work other than the obvious problems that even a child could fix.

My streaming quality has improved greatly...hopefully they get the OVC's right.

Are you wireless or direct wired?

Ive tried both. Ive been through this with them every game. Its on their end i get about half a game sometimes the beginning, sometimes the end then it will go black leaving sound and no video. I despise them. It is infuriating if it would not work at all i could just let it go and go on. Instead it offers the promise of a game, luring me on and on.

I believe NC State used to use CBS as well. I think the change came when they switched to Learfield sports a couple of years ago.

The overall quality greatly improved. More content, better video, more frequent updates. The search function is a massive improvement. My only complaint is that some content is behind a pay wall. A very expensive pay wall.
