Apology!
Insiderinfo was correct when he posted that Aaric Armstead was considering leaving. He is in school but has left the basketball team and is not practicing with them. He is working thru some personal issues. Hopefully he gets things resolved for himself as he is a good kid. His status for next year is currently up in the air. Also, Dontel Highsmith is looking terrific and very healthy! (Knock on wood). South Florida, Bradley, and SIU likely will be on the 2016-17 schedule.

I hope that Aaric comes back next season. We would be a a stronger team with him and he could provide leadership to our young pups.

I'm sure there is a home game in that list also add UC-Riverside.

RE: Apology!
I appreciate your apology.

Apparently, he is rejoining the team sometime this week for workouts, but that is yet to be seen.

Let's hope he stays.

not sure why we don't play UIC and Loyola every year and rotate with SIU, ISU and Bradley. Good competition and easy on the budget

Armstead was with his teammates last night at the Victors event. Men's basketball voted best men's team and Monty voted best men's sports coach.

Probably my favorite Huskie bball player, glad Armstead is staying. Next season can't get here soon enough and like 17Huskies said it is bizarre, I am also more excited for the start of next basketball season than I am football for the first time in 16 years.
