Great job by the bullpen tonight. If you had told me that Cockrell would only go 5.2 (regardless of how good he was), I would have said no chance in hell we win the game.

Offense hung in there and did what they could against one of the best in the country. Went with a couple of fastballs to the opposite field in the first and made Rice pay for almost the only mistake they made all game with a leadoff walk and passed ball.

And of course some luck in the ninth with a triple that would have been gone a foot to the right.

I thought that ball was out till the very end. A daytime game and it is.

That was a very well played game on both sides. Good pitching and defense.

Tech is over performing expectations considering they were picked last in conference

Nice to finally beat ODU in something! Really need to take this series.
