After this weekend, seeing Gregg Marshall/Wichita coach up an unranked, unknown JC out of Mississippi to 12 and 7 average on the year, I'm more convinced than ever that IF Tubby truly is the coach folks think he is, then he and his staff can also find diamond in the rough types out there and coach them up.

Not saying this kid is one, just saying a lot of midrange guys putting up numbers, a lot of transfers on the wire, a lot of sleeper HS players.

I think this is predicated more on the "system" being in place, then being able to insert key pieces into that system to play a role.....depending on the "dynamics" of said "system", a player with abilities and gifted can flourish in that regard.

I'm sure most if NOT ALL gr8 coaches rely on their system and want to implement that to build upon. Maybe that's one of the factors that allow us to be limited with roster options
