The two most surprising things to me are (1) that Texas doesn't have the most revenue given that they have their own TV network; (2) that Texas A&M somehow netted $83,000,000 on their athletic program. That's a pretty sweet deal. I have to believe their expense number is wrong somehow.

I thought the same for the expenses on some of these schools. No way are the spending all, or nearly all they take in. I think it's all in the accounting technique. Going to offset with an expense somehow. A & M is currently putting 100 million plus I believe into renovations. Perhaps that is it.
