I feel for you. We've had a small stream running through our backyard since the October flooding here from groundwater runoff coming down the hill. Every time it slows to a trickle we will get more heavy rain and it starts again. I'm just about to the point of either planting rice or making a catfish pond.

I was talking about Allison.

I get 1983 Hurricane Alicia and 2001 TS Allison's names mixed up.

We went over to the not yet open section of the SW Fwy and saw it full to the base of the bridge.

In 1983 it was kind of strange to see the fire department air boats driving down S. Braeswood. Not in the bayou, but in the street.
