RE: Women's Tennis: 2016 C-USA Championship
There was a bus to the Baylor football game last year. It was a lot nicer than having to drive there. The bus had the Rice cheerleaders on it also.

I have no inside information, but on general principles alone, I would bet my life savings that the answer is NO. It has been proven time and again that Rice fans are simply too few and too intractable to make organizing group travel a responsible use of effort and money.

RE: Women's Tennis: 2016 C-USA Championship
Elizabeth's latest e-mail to supporters...
Quote:Dear Rice Women’s Tennis Alumni & Supporters,
As many of you probably know by now, our team captured the C-USA Championship on Sunday with a 4-1 victory over #44 FIU. Our team made history by capturing this title….Rice Women’s Tennis is the only program to ever win 4 consecutive C-USA titles!! Along with our current team and staff, a lot of people had a hand in helping making this happen. That includes all the women’s tennis alums and former staff members from the past four years, all our loyal supporters, as well as every Rice women’s tennis alum who have help paved the way for the current Owls. So, many thanks to all of you who have done so much for Rice Women’s Tennis. We would not be where we are today without you! A special congrats to our senior, Solo Zinko, who is currently the only student-athlete in the world to earn 4 consecutive C-USA women’s tennis titles!!
On another exciting note, the Rice men’s tennis team captured the title on Sunday as well! So, now both teams await our NCAA tournament draw. The selection show will be May 3 from 4-5pm. We will be holding a watch party for all our alums and supporters. Once we get more details about the event, we will pass them on to you.
Thank you very much for all the notes of support during the tournament and congratulations the past few days! The Rice family is very special and we are extremely grateful to be a part of it. As always, we truly appreciate your support!
Go Owls!
Elizabeth
