As it get progressively more difficult to get P5 teams to visit the Glass Bowl, 1 for 1 games with a Mountain West or an AAC team is next best option.

Would like to get a home and home series with Army going. A fall trip to West Point would be great !!

New teams always add excitement for me. Teams from another region in mid-major leagues provide an opportunity for comparison and some geographic diversity for road trips.

I wanted a series with them 20-25 years ago when they were relevant.

They were ranked two seasons ago, and were decent last year

We played them during the streak, IIRC.

would still like to see us take a money game each year (like arkansas) and try to pull the upset. then, use that money to help get home n homes with lower profile P5 teams like Iowa St, Maryland, Vandy, NC State, etc...

That does seem like a good plan too. Home games against Fresno St, Colo St. don't particularly excite me, unless they perchance had a particularly highly rated player I'd get to see. I'd rather see how we stack up against the talent of an Arkansas away, then Fresno St at home, nothing at all against Fresno St. I'm sure they're as good as a program as we are. They just don't have flash, like we don't for them.

Went out to Fresno several years ago to watch the Bulldogs kick Toledo's ass. During the Bruce Gradkowski era, unfortunately he didn't play because of a concussion. Believe Clint Cochran was thrown to the dogs in that one. They offer a much better game day experience than we ever come close to. Too many "Third Down Thunder" PA announcements in that game.

Who the heck are we to say CSU and Fresno ST are second rate opponents for us... It will harder and harder to bring in P5 schools. Heck we cant sellout jack#*^% or Missouri...
