Best First half
There was a game at Arkansas that was more impressive but when it really counted, this has to be the best....the second 10 minutes of half.

RE: Best First half
I've seen some great halves in Memphis history. We had a 1st half at Houston and Tulsa that was really great with Cal's team pre-DRose.

Two memorable halves was the 1st half against Georgetown when Memphis played against Allen Iverson and the 1st half at Bud Walton before Vaughn was injured.

Vaughn got hurt at Barnhill.

Our first half against Michigan State in the 2008 tournament. We looked like the Globetrotters. Led 50-20 at the half and held their star, Drew Neitzel, to 6 points.

That one gets my vote.

Oh, and football, first half of the SMU game last season.

I still get nauseated when I think about that. I'll be glad when the Memphis knee curse ends

Look at the expressions on the cameramen's faces after that Joey dunk as they dropped their cameras down after getting the shot ... only up for a split second, but it's classic. CDR was so smooth.

Yep, best half. Rewatching it was fun. What a great defensive team that was, every rotation was perfect, every shot (for the most part) contested, absolutely nothing easy, and nothing off the dribble.

Even the bench was super strong, Taggart was a stud, Andre Allen a defensive nemesis, Willie Kemp a solid do everything PG.

Thanks for posting. I'd forgotten what a joy it was to watch that team. Anderson on defense was a beast.
