Sunday night joke
A woman came home a day early from an out-of-town trip and found her husband in bed with a young woman.
Just as she was about to storm out of the house, her husband stopped her with these words, "Before you leave, I want you to hear how this came about.
I was driving along when I saw this young woman tired and bedraggled, so I brought her home and made her a meal from the roast beef you forgot was in the refrigerator.
She was wearing worn-out sandals, so I gave her a pair of shoes you had discarded because they were out of style.
She was cold, so I gave her the sweater I bought for your birthday but you never wore because the colors weren't right.
Her jeans were threadbare, so I gave her a pair of slacks that you hadn't worn in a long time because you said they were no longer in style.
As the woman was about to leave, she turned to me and asked, with a smile, "Is there anything else your wife doesn't use anymore?"
