JMU hasn't announced, but he has registered (based upon the directory) at the university so assume it'll be coming soon once the paperwork is finalized.

Article states that Houston and Trott are under contract. Doesn't mean that poaching couldn't occur, of course. The other assistants' contracts expire at the end of the month.

A 3 start OL recruit. Hell yeah! Isn't this our fourth or fifth 3 star in this class of 2017?

According to 247 we have 2 3 star commits already, 3 counting this commit: Moloney, Hawkins, and now Fornadel, who is not listed on 247sports yet. Fornadel is the only 3 star listed on rivals, who list fewer commits for JMU at this point.

Getting a 3-star OL at an FCS school is especially impressive. I'm so used to us getting a QB or TE and putting an extra 80 lbs on them to move them to OL. If we can keep Houston and Trott (and a majority of the rest of the staff), we could be unstoppable in a few years. Don't get me wrong, we have some good athletes now, but letting Houston recruit the players he wants and being able to use the National Championship, COY, and all the other awards our players have won... Should be a fun ride.

The Stars are fun and exciting, but in reality they don't seem to be a very good predictor.....

Steele, Kirsh, Ankrah, & Schor all had Zero Stars. Without those 4 no stars we would not of been nearly as successful this year. Many of the 2 and 3 stars from the prior years I don't even recognize the name.

Coaching is soooo key at our level.

Nice to see the Dukes active with North Jersey Catholic Schools. They have another offensive lineup Bathea from DePaul and Curtis Olivier who played as good a Championship game as any Duke is from Paramus Catholic a team that regularly plays Don Bosco prep.

sometimes a player has zero stars because they didn't attend a certain rivals or 24/7 football camp to get evaluated and "rated".
