On officials, the school can pay for lodging and food. Coach and players can have contact off campus. The number of officials is limited.

Unofficials are unlimited in number. He can do it every weekend. But he has to pay his own expenses, and contact off campus is limited.

I just talked with a friend who is close to Lomax. I asked him how the visit went. He said "terrific". Just thought I would pass that along.

Well, I didn't say that and nor did the person who called me, but I think he likes Memphis a lot and likes the idea of playing for his hometown school. Trust me though, I love Alex's game and want him to be a Memphis Tiger, so I'm hoping he chooses to stay home.

Yea, I know that we don't want to go and say something that is off the wall...lol, but yes, it just sounds like he likes Memphis a lot.04-cheers

He'll be a really nice player. Ranked #137 at 247.

By no means a Joe Jackson type player. He's 5'10 and seems to be good at everything but not the kind of player that will come in and dominate. Will be a steady guy that can be trusted to run a team.

2018 is a bunch of those type guys. I think Harris is the highest in the 80s.

We need 2 of the 5 Memphis kids. I would be happy with that. That's the minimum expectation, since they all play similar positions.

I think he's a better point guard than my guy Joe, but I think Joe was a way better scorer and athlete. Although Lomax is a great athlete, he doesn't jump as high obviously and he's not as fast as Joe. But as for pure point guard skills, I think he's better than Joe. Just my opinion.

I guess I would take Lomax and Boyce or Rod Brown. Of course I haven't seen Boyce in person, but from what posters here say, they think he's better than Moss, and I believe that.

It seems Lomax is rated a little lower than Andre Hollins was. Hollins was decent bit taller (6'2 vs. 5'10).

Would not be a bad person to follow a collegiate career path, though.
