Not a popular destination for some Tech fans but I think it would be a more than ideal fit. They have one of if not the top o lines in the NFL. Also the backs they have now McFadden (injury prone) and Morris (not good receiving) would allow for KD to fit well in the rotation. Another obvious fit for his skill set is NE. That may be the best fit for KD.

Dallas has Lance Dunbar coming back as a receiving back. He caught 21 passes in 3 games before getting injured last season. They're also trying to trade for Ryan Matthews. I don't want him in a place where he has to split playing time with 4 other backs. I'd like to see him go to Indianapolis or Miami.

As a fan I'd love to see him as a Dolphin.

I forgot about Dunbar. Good point.
Also, as one of the only Miami fans in Louisiana, I would buy a Dixon jersey and would be incredible for me as a fan

Don't fool yourself, this Tech AND Dallas Cowboys fan would LOVE to see KD just down I-20 from us on Sundays.

HA! I like the Saints, and do not view them as a rival to my team. Neither do most Dallas fans. Truth be told, the NFL has changed so much in the last 40 years, free agency, salary caps, etc., i'm not nearly as big a fan of professional football as I am college.

This isn't high school or college. This is the NFL. Very few backs are "every down" backs. And if they are, they typically don't last long.
The Dallas Cowboys would be a great fit for KD. By the way, Tech QB Jeff Driskel would fit in well there too.

It's not that very few backs are every down backs. Most teams just don't use them that way anymore. Dixon has the ability to be an every down back. In Dallas he'd be the 3rd or 4th back and be lucky to get 5 touches a game next season.
Dallas does need to draft a QB with a collarbone that doesn't break everytime it makes contact with the ground though.

Dixon DOES NOT have the ability to be an every down back in the NFL. And that's not what he is being drafted for. Dixon has struggled with injuries in college in 3 of the last 4 years. And it was precisely because he was over-used as an "every down" back in college.
I think Dixon should be --and will be-- drafted to fill a 2nd and 3rd down pass receiving RB role on some NFL team. And he should do very well at it. But he absolutely does NOT need to be an every down back in the NFL. His career wouldn't last 2 full years as an every down back.
Dallas would be a great destination for Jeff Driskel because he could learn the ropes under Tony Romo's tutelage for the first couple of years of his NFL career.

All running backs deal with injuries. The average career for a NFL running back is 2 1/2 years. You can pretty much consider them done at age 30. That's why most teams have gone to rbbc and don't invest high draft picks and large contracts in running backs. Either way, I hope Dixon finds his way onto a team where he isn't the 4th back.
