New press box, club seats, suites, loge boxes, on field viewing area, renovation to football locker room, new premium tailgating lots with electricity and cable.

Also included in the project is a new indoor hitting facility for ECU Baseball.

Good news indeed. Like these upgrades and I like the OOC teams coming to Greenville in the future. ECU football (and baseball) has a lot to look forward to...
Cheers!

Doing it at the spring game makes much more sense.

LOL yeah right. He's not attending a single one of the Pirate Club rubber chicken functions that I've seen this off season, so no he won't be seen anytime soon.

Let's just say -- everyone will want to make a trip to Dowdy Ficklen in 2018.
AAC football facilities truly are first class

RE: ECU Stadium Expansion to be announced Saturday
I'm excited to see the plans. It seems that everyone that has seen it has been really pleased and even surprised with how nice the plans look. Being a Winston Salem native I was really impressed with Wake Forest's Deacon Towers so I hope this is very comparable to that. Deacon Towers even has a restaurant in it that is open to the public which I think is a good idea for income. That and Duke's new press area are really what I'm going to compare it to and see how they stack up.

It's more along the lines of State's Vaughn Towers and Deacon Towers than Duke's just because of how the stadium is configured. Though the box itself does look a lot like Duke's

At least with Ruff not here we won't hear 'our stadium is already second to none, now it'll really be second to none" once the plans are released to the public.

I love Ruff, but man I got tired to the 'Second to None' speech at every press conference.

The expansion is going to be honestly unbelievable. This will solidify ECU with the top spot among AAC stadiums.

Thanks for the info, those are all nice facilities, it's good to know ours will be comparable to those.
