I don't think Barnes is anything to worry about.

Go big. Nova. Neutral or home and home.
LSU would be a good series.
So would Texas tech.
Or UNLV.

Exactly! Zero interest in the vols for me. Louisville is a completely different story though, that is a game that needs to be played every year. I wouldn't mind Kansas on a yearly basis either.

Throw in a Tobacco Road team in a year or two.

With all the respect that Tubbs has I'd expect that he'll get almost any game he tries to schedule

RE: Scheduling suggestions for Tubbs
Schedule something that's won't floor us in year one. I'm fine with a Little Debbie cupcake tinged 16-17 schedule, I just hope it has a little protein.

After that, apply the lessons we learned under Calipari:

1. Play tough games to prep and do it early to get the team ready.
2. Schedule GOOD buy games. We gotta play some relatively easy games, but try to get top 4 finish types out of the low majors. The winning percentage for memphis against top 200 and top 300 should be about the same, so let's try to not schedule a ton of 200+ games. We can play the SWAC, but play the top SWAC teams... etc.

And sure, I want the Ville. Let's get them back on the schedule.
UTk can pound sand as far as I am concerned.
Yes, Gonzaga, Wichita, SDSt. Let's get good non P-5 games to augment a strong AAC schedule.

If we can play holiday tourney, a couple of P5 programs that are good, and get a H/A with a couple of games (the Zags might want us back since we should be a good game again soon).

Tubby can figure this out. I'm hopeful.

I wouldn't mind Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Baylor, TCU, Kansas, Kansas State, Iowa State and West Virginia every year. :pbjtime:In fact, I would LOVE it!

We are talking about non-conference scheduling. 03-cloud9

Stop crying Coach Pastner is gone. You are going to be totally surprise with the team that Coach Smith will have on the floor.

I welcome that surprise. Make it so!

Still no to Tennessee, though.
