Go CAVS! If LeBron and Company can get it done (which likely means having to beat either Golden State or San Antonio) what it would do for the championship starved city of Cleveland. I like how Kevin Love is playing right now to compliment Bron and Kyrie. Hard to believe that the Cavs were down both Love (for all of the playoffs sans the first game) and Kyrie in last year's championship series.

The Cavs toughest challenge will come from a Western Conference team if they make the finals. I don't think the Cavs have it in them to get by the Spurs or the Warriors in a 7 game series.

Welp, in the 14 games thus far, I'd say 10 have been duds. They need to reduce the first round back to a best of 5. I think we all know who the better team is already in at least 5 of these 8 series.

Follow the money.... the potential to have a series go longer means more money in the NBA's pockets.

I really hope the Hornets find themselves at home because in the two games @ Miami I have not seen the good play that the Hornets have had of late.

Always about the money. The other problem is that more than half the teams make the postseason, which helps render the regular season mostly pointless. Take the Clippers for example. They were always likely going to get the 4 seed, and guess what...they got the 4 seed. What was their incentive to play hard every night? The NBA should shorten the season to 74 games and either shorten the first round to 5 games, or lessen the amount of teams that make it. Neither of those things would happen, but it would improve the quality of play and the watchability of the postseason

RE: 2016 NBA Playoffs
72 games is best, every team is guaranteed to play every other team at least once at their home arena (2x15 and 3x14=72). The NBA is big on that so every home market has a chance to see every player in the NBA, at least in theory.

I think they can beat the Spurs. Not guaranteeing it or anything, but they can.

On paper there is no way they should beat the Warriors. Then again, they had the Warriors dead to rights last year thru game 5, with Love out, and Irving only playing in one game. So who knows...

Droppin' dimes!! Droppin' dimes!!

The Big Three through 3 games against the Pistons:

Irving 26.3 PPG/4.7 APG
James 23.0 PPG/8.3 RPG/7.0 APG
Love 21.3 PPG/11.7 RPG

I love the key role players in Thompson and Dellavedova (Delly).

San Antonio is the first to win and advance to the next round 4-0 over the Griz. Boston in a fight to tie up the series with Atlanta. How 'bout the Pacers tied with the Raptors 2-2?

Man, I want the Cavs to close out the series against Detroit. Rest up for the next series. The Celtics tie it up 2-2 with Atlanta.

Whew! Cavs punch their ticket to the next round. Now get to wait awhile on the Hawks/Celtics series winner. Good final game from the Pistons. They never gave up. The future looks bright for them with Van Gundy.

Cavs got out that series with a sweep but man, the Pistons showed up the last two games.... and really...should have gotten at least one game.
