Move the Iron Bowl to the Third Saturday in October (to prevent the Iron Bowl from being followed the next week by the SEC Championship game featuring the same two teams). UT gets first pick of its rival from the West (Knowing them, they'd probably do something uncontroversial like picking Ole Miss).

Hey! 03-hissyfit

Well then who would you guys pick? You can't pick Alabama under those circumstances.

THE SEC of the FUTURE

WEST
Oklahoma
Texas A&M
Missouri
Arkansas
LSU
Ole Miss
Mississippi State
Alabama
Auburn

EAST
West Virginia
Kentucky
Virginia Tech
Vanderbilt
Tennessee
e. Carolina
South Carolina
Georgia
Florida

Mostly right...except ECU.

Sorry guys, but the Pirates are just way too far down the list to have any realistic shot.

Wake Forest has a better shot at this point.

Alabama - Auburn, Tennessee, LSU
Auburn - Alabama, Georgia, Florida
Florida - Georgia, Auburn, Tennessee
Georgia - Auburn, Florida, South Carolina
Tennessee - Alabama, Florida, Vanderbilt
LSU - Alabama, A&M, Arkansas
Arkansas - LSU, Missouri, A&M
A&M - LSU, Arkansas, Ole Miss
Vanderbilt - Tennessee, Ole Miss, Kentucky
South Carolina - Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri
Ole Miss - MSU, Vanderbilt, A&M
MSU - Ole Miss, Kentucky, Missouri
Missouri - Arkansas, MSU, South Carolina
Kentucky - South Carolina, Vanderbilt, MSU

*The last 4 or 5 "rivals" groups admittedly contain some stretches. But it enables the deal-breaker matchups to stay in place and also provides some balance.

So, for instance-

Alabama:
Year 1: Auburn, Tennessee, LSU, Florida, Miss St., Arkansas, A&M, Kentucky
Year 2: Auburn, Tennessee, LSU, Georgia, Ole Miss, Missouri, South Carolina, Vanderbilt

Florida:
Year 1: Georgia, Auburn, Tennessee, Alabama, Vanderbilt, Arkansas, Miss St., Vanderbilt
Year 2: Georgia, Auburn, Tennessee, LSU, Kentucky, Missouri, Ole Miss, South Carolina

Miss St.:
Year 1: Ole Miss, Kentucky, Missouri, Alabama, Florida, LSU, Vanderbilt, Arkansas
Year 2: Ole Miss, Kentucky, Missouri, Auburn, Georgia, A&M, Tennessee, South Carolina

Vanderbilt:
Year 1: Tennessee, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Alabama, Florida, LSU, Arkansas, Miss St.
Year 2: Tennessee, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Auburn, Georgia, A&M, Missouri, South Carolina

You clearly dont understand the Big 6 principle. Auburn, Alabama, LSU, UTK, Florida and UGA. Only three of these teams can be in a division or the SEC becomes as fricked up as the ACC.

Would rather have ECU then WVU.

I don't think you will have to worry about either.

We'd probably end up with Mizzou or whatever new entry to the SEC West considering what would be gained by moving the Alabama schools east.

The examples are schedules, not divisions.
