How far down the list do we go?

How far down the list do we go?
Hopefully we are actually going after top guys. How short is the list of candidates? At some point I would hope we just go with someone like Lawson at a low salary on a one year deal. We save a year salary and we are ready to make a hire as early as possible when when the coaching shuffle starts next year. I just hope we don't go too far down a list and get into another bad long term deal.

I would go back up the list now that they know market value for someone who doesn't completely suck.

I would go back up the list now that they know market value for someone who doesn't completely suck.

Hmm- yeah that would be ideal. I guess putting it off a year isn't going to really help.

No, it's how far UP the list we go. Nobody's gonna think GM or BW was 2nd fiddle to Tubby. They'll know we tried to go cheaper and got slammed and decided to correct ourselves and do what we should've done first. That said, both of them will probably squeeze us more knowing the add'l leverage.

Pretty much after one of our AAU games. It was classic.
