Sling TV: Launches new Fox channel programs with multi-streaming
http://www.marketwatch.com/story/sling-t...3-81035425

Sling TV will offer another version of itself with Fox channels and will allow up 3 devices to stream at a time for the same $20. Other networks will be included in this new package but not the Disney networks. Disney networks will still be offer on the current package but only allow 1 device at a time.

So those schools who play on FS1 or Fox Regional will be able to see them on Sling TV.

My how quickly this is changing over the past year and now with Playstation Vue active that allows multi-streaming.
.
Edit: https://www.sling.com/

Sling has the beta version up and you can see the channels available for that package.

RE: Sling TV: Launches new Fox channel programs with multi-streaming
Looks to me like a play to try and bring Disney into the multi-stream side of things. I bet that in the coming months we'll hear about a deal with either CBS Sports or NBC Sports joining the Multi-stream side of things while raising the price to $25/mo, which might further push them towards that position. If Disney ever signs on then expect the single stream rate to continue at $20, with the multi-stream going for $30.

Also, I'm not sure why Disney would have a problem with the multi-stream thing, seeing how they already do that with Vue.

Interesting...So for $45 a month plus internet I have everything I need. $25 for original Sling with Robust ESPN Package and $20 more for the FOX stuff.

I wonder if you have both packages at the same time if it will default to the multi-stream for non-Disney channels.

Not sure but I'm going to investigate...having three residences (hopefully two soon) using Sling is a huge cost saver for me.

I wonder if I'd be able to watch Canes games on the Fox Sports regional channel. I can watch them now on Uverse at home but I cannot watch them on the Fox streaming app or the Uverse streaming app.

Technically I can't watch them at ALL now because they didn't make the playoffs, but I digress...

Type your zip code in the show all available channels. It'll show which FRSN is available.
