"Fit" is very important at the University of Memphis, a coach can't be too white. Gene Bartow, Dana Kirk, John Calipari all had dawg in them. Our coach has to be able to earn the trust of the type of players that come to Memphis.

He also said that a new coach will "not have already burned bridges with local coaches."

Also said that being able to recruit locally a must and that once the players are on the floor the coach "not look like a clown out there."

...and Keith tried to refrain from "naming names" but I'm gonna take a stab and say that two he WOULD say fit his pre-reqs would be Forbes and Kennedy.

Yep. Buzz too. Although I don't think there's a chance. And since the clown show committee won't even give Forbes an interview that leaves AK. But Dannyb says its Thad so we got our coach

I assume Will Wade would fit the bill, but he may be too mindful.
