Athletic Director Dan Radokovich is also on the playoff committee. Could be nothing, but it could be something too.

Only $75k to win the conference title game? That is low.

I'm not so sure that's an expansion clause. The CFP's selection committee fills six major bowl games. Two of them are semifinals, the other four are not. I think that's what's meant by a "College Football Playoff Non-Semifinal Appearance." The wording is definitely awkward, which could maybe be intentional, but I don't think so: there's an "OR" between the semifinal and non-semifinal appearances. If this was meant to refer to quarterfinals, then presumably he would be getting bonuses for one "AND" the other.

That's my interpretation as well.

It's talking about the Orange/Access bowls.

He would get $75K for appearing in the championship game, another $75K for winning the championship, and then $200K for the automatic Orange Bowl appearance.

That makes total sense, it didn't occur to me to think of all the New Years 6 bowls as being part of the "College Football Playoff", but I think you hit the nail on the head there.
