Re Kennedy -- if it's truly ONLY 2 NCAA's in 10 years than count me as in the 'no frackin way' crowd.

It is really 2 out of 11, 10 at Ole Miss and 1 at Cincinnati... He has missed postseason play (NCAA or NIT) more times than he has made the NCAA tournament...

Or been to postseason three of last four years (2 ncaa 1 nit). Trending upward.

No he hasn't.

12-13 NCAA tournament
13-14 missed NCAA and NIT
14-15 NCAA tournament
15-16 missed NCAA and NIT

Quite the upward trajectory...

Going to NCAA's ever other seems good at OM.

Well if that's the standard you judge by --- Kennedy's 2 appearances look like can't miss gold --

I get the feeling you are related or have a personal relationship with the guy. I have never seen someone defend a coach, who has such a mediocre record, so strongly. You are acting like this guy is Coach K and is cant miss.

He is a mediocre coach who would do okay here but not great. There are 11 years worth of coaching results that bear that out. You cannot act like a guy is a great coach after 11 years when he has not even reached a Sweet 16.

Outside of bad math...not good at reading either.

In this same thread I noted I would take Buzz over AK. Would be totally happy with Forbes as well.

Would take AK over Mussleman, Sampson, Romar and others listed.

Quite the ego if you believe I intend to read and memorize all of you posts and how you rank all outstanding candidates...

Hey amiga, you're the one assuming some allegiance or relation to AK. Quite the ego to be so presumptuous.

So you want Penny? His college hc record is resplendent with highlights.

I'd take Forbes over Kennedy based on their records. Kennedy w/ only 2 NCAAs in 11 years speaks volumes.

RE: Andy Kennedy or Steve Forbes?
I don't know if Kennedy is a bum. However, I did speak to a guy who's in the same Sunday school class as both Kennedy and freeze. He bragged about what a great guy freeze is. I asked about Kennedy. He bragged about what a great guy freeze is. Fwiw, which ain't much.

life has really worked out for Josh...
