NEC Player of the Year transferring to Cincinnati
I haven't seen this discussed on here, but I thought it was worth its own thread.

Cane Broome, a 6-0 combo guard who averaged 23.1 ppg this year as a sophomore at Sacred Heart, committed to Cincinnati to finish out his two years of eligibility. He will have to sit out this season.

He turns the ball over a lot and his shooting percentages aren't great, but he basically carried his team. I think he will become a much more efficient player with better talent around him.

He has to sit a year... We still need help for 2016-17, but 17-18 looks promising.

Probably a JUCO player or two still in the works to round things off. A BIG man would be nice...we really need a biggie.

RE: NEC Player of the Year transferring to Cincinnati
Tulsa picked up a transfer from guard Curran Scott who was previously in Charlotte. He averaged 10 ppg on .452 from the field and .439 from deep. He'll take a RS during the coming season and be a sophomore in 17-18.

He scored 20+ several times this season, and 30 against a pretty decent UAB team.
