Could this be a record?
In bitter cold and wind the Ball State baseball team swept Western Michigan over the weekend by a combined score of 41-6, their first sweep of the Broncos since 2003. Friday's scheduled game was rained/snowed out, Saturday the Cards won 7-2, and Sunday they won a doubleheader 21-1 and 13-3. In the Sunday doubleheader 1st baseman Caleb Stayton led the charge with an incredible line of 9 hits in 11 at bats, 4 singles, 3 doubles, a triple, a home run, 7 runs scored, and 10 runs batted in.

Damn. Can we skip playing you guys this year? The scorers are going to get writer's cramp.

Looking forward to the season-closing series between these two teams in DeKalb next month.
