I don't think we have touched on a bigger problem with pro vs. college. It's the quality of play - and this is not just a Tigers issue. The shooting in college in general is terrible. Granted, I'm weird, but I do this thing at Tiger games where I count the number of outside shots hit. Sometimes we can go a whole half without hitting 3 shots beyond 10 feet. At the Grizzlies game Sat. versus GS, there were I think five 3-pointers in the first 80 seconds (and none by Steph Curry). The rules changes this year in college - 30 second clock especially - helped. But still a huge difference between the two.
I agree with the level of talent disparity between college and the NBA. However, although I pull for both the Tigers and the Grizzlies, I only come back to Memphis a couple of times a year to see the Tigers. I have much more of an emotional attachment to them (that's why I follow this board). Although I also like and watch the Grizzlies on TV, I see them as pretty much just a business, although I think Memphis having them also helps the Tigers with recruiting.

The fake/fixed/rasslin league coming to town--- is the worst thing that could have happened to the TIGERS.
