This board is eerily quiet. Two days in and no rumors or door watching posts?! That's got to be a good thing, right?

That is how we conduct business now. Could be good or bad. They may all be watching the Masters lol

Yep. Our leadership works quietly. Remember our coaching hire? We were all wondering where our search group would look next when talks with Odom went stale. Next thing we knew, Dr Rudd tweeted that we had our coach.

Hoping this one gets done quickly, though.

It can be 1 of 2 ways, either 1. They are mapping out a strategy of what direction to take next week, or 2. They already have made calls and are either in negotiations or moving quietly down their short list and doing a great job of keeping it under wraps. I would like to think it's option 2 after the football hire as an example, as well as the fact Bowen/Rudd knew this was a possibility since the F4 weekend when Josh was approached by GT.

In a well run athletic department, strategy would have been formulated in broad strokes months ago. They would be well into search at this point.

If anyone has been paying attention, this board has been far from quiet.

Well, we know one thing for sure -- we haven't contacted Bruce Pearl. Silence ain't his game.
