GS at Griz
Griz playing their arses off!

Zach is way off tonight.

Crowd sounds more in favor of GS than Memphis.

Just don't get it.

Can't be a jinx, as we were down 1 when I posted.

Just seems the refs and our crowd want GS to win.

they aren't our fans; GS fans' have been traveling well this season, especially since they have a chance at the Bulls single season win #

Really. Go count your money.
I heard Jason Wexler on talk radio say they had sold 500 tickets from metro Nashville for tonight's game. I guess we know who one of them was.
I thought as the game went on our crowd sounded great. When it ended and we had lost it was pretty much quiet disappointment. I was disappointed in the ESPN crew of Van Gundy, Mike Breen (who was working for the Knicks when they were here in Jan) and Mark Jackson. The first half of the 1st quarter it was the Golden State lovefest game of the week. It really got disgusting. They were expecting a quick rout. When they realized it wasn't going to be a quick rout and we might (OH NO!) actually win, they really changed their tune and gave us a lot of credit. They did a good job as we led most of the 2nd half until the very end. They turned out to be a decent crew. At least we made a great showing on national tv. I just wish we'd kept the ball out of Lance's hands on the last possession.

RE: GS at Griz
Well ESPN just bumped Kobe's last game vs Utah to ESPN2 so they can cover the Warriors attempt at 73 against us on Wednesday (assuming they win at San Antonio on Sunday). I don't know if this cancels our Fox Sports Southeast broadcast like it when ESPN picked up tonight's game. If it does, and we can make it a game, I would seriously advise turning off the ESPN crew and listen to Eric Hasseltine and Hank McDowell on 92.9. The ESPN announcers will have their noses so far up the Warrior's butts we won't be able to tell where ESPN ends and Golden State begins.

RE: GS at Griz
GS got some help from the refs Saturday night. The non-goaltending call? One, it WAS in the cylinder, and two, you can't touch a ball between the backboard and the rim. And the review stated minimum contact??? Even the announcers admitted the shooter was fouled on the last shot attempt. GS will get to 73....with zebra help, you watch....

But I will also admit, the main reason we were in the game was due to GS having a bad shooting night.

That game is proof and justification to me for how I watch their games. On my Dvr & on mute with lots of fast forward time. Can't stand the NBA's star and big market treatment. The NBA will always get the results they want. For me it's about a civic event and Memphis getting free pub. Because in the end Memphis will never be allowed to win a championship. See Minnesota, Orlando, Milwaukee, Sacramento, Utah, Indy etc....that's the bucket we fall in. Keep them competitive to keep the butts in the seats and eyeballs on the tvs.
