ODU in as a 14 seed. Still no respect.

I have a feeling that it is going to be a ODU-MT final once again, with no offense to UAB. Fate is simply fate. We'll keep ramming head-first into the Planters Bowl wall until we break through.

No offense.

I would go

1.UAB
2 MTSU
3 ODU

If you look at who is returning and newcomers.

The scheduling needs to be fixed. No way the top three should have to play two games against any bottom dwellers

This is strictly a RPI/BPI generated list.

However, I still give MT and ODU as a good a chance to win it as UAB. The Monarchs and Blue Raiders are losing key seniors but both will be bringing on great transfers. Both have excellent coaches as well.

My biggest concern of the top teams is La Tech. Losing Hamilton, and the most recent two transfers is crippling. McCree and Jean will have to be big time.

UTEP is the sleeper. Man they are loaded next year.

Don't count Rice out. We get our preseason all conference player Marcus Jackson back after missing all season to injury. We get Lott back who by all accounts was better than Marcus Evans before he also got hurt and missed all season. Evans comes back with a year of experience and we all know what he did. I wouldn't be surprised if one of the incoming freshman is a candidate for FOY again either.

Now that we are playing more than 7 guys we will finally be able to press like Rboades wants to. Should be a fun season in CUSA. Much better than last year.

100% agree that Rice will be in the mix. Letcher-Ellis and Evans are going to be even better than they were last year which is scary. I'm going to pick Rice to finish in the top 5 barring no off season injuries.

None taken and i would go with that too. We are nothing but a disappointment this season due to the factors out of our control but i guess we will be back soon.

You can't really say that with UTEP until you see who actually shows up/returns in October.

I think everyone at Marshall is cautiously optimistic. 7 of top 8 players return though losing James Kelly is big. Feel confident that the program is on the rise.
