In california you can't secretly record private conversations. he engaged in fraud to obtain company secrets. his cover included forging documents as well as state issued identification.

then on the civil side of things there is defamation of character and violating non-disclosure agreements.

Media took a look and showed enough of the tapes that any AG could easily bring charges, at a minimum the same charges, intent to buy and sell, that they have brought against one party involved.

Like I said, absurd that they charge the one with no actual intent to buy and cover for the monsters willing to sell so they could buy new cars.
