One last parting shot from the douche, I guess. I can handle that.

I had given MT.org a break since I had lost all hope in CJP being gone.....I literally stopped on Wednesday night, had a busy Thursday and Friday and just logged in to see this.
Talk about 'bump' material! What a glorious way to start my weekend!
Who knows, maybe CJP turns it around at GTech. But it was really, really obvious that his words/actions during this season suggested a divorce was really needed. He was flat-out trolling there during the last few weeks or so and lo and behold he left. Amazing!

Regurgitated blah:
Nobody wanted job. Everyone turned it down. He was crazy to follow Cal.
Graduated in 5 semesters. Got masters in 1 year. No excuse for kids not doing academics.
Never wanted the Memphis job when he first got there. Silly to follow Cal.
Won 70% of games and has had a great run.
"Letter to himself" would say:
Memphis is MOST scrutinized job in the country. Always under a microscope from day 1.
Gives absolutely NO tangible things he would do differently. "Change some things, maybe get some different players."
"Put a premium on shooting" "Take things one day at a time"
Hosts brag to him about coaching tree and number of assistants who have gone onto hc under him. Blessing and curse because of continuity.
Talks about his flip phone.
Good young core group coming back.
Make a deep tourney run. Excited. Opportunity to do some different things. Make a deep run in the AAC.
Dudes fluff the hell out of him. Says he is one of the best coaches in the country.
I'm going to listen to the podcast when I get the chance, I'm expecting to find out that your summary is inaccurate, if it is accurate Josh is a worse human being than I thought.
Let me know.
Damn, you were accurate. I think I can do a better job summarizing it:
Brag, Brag, Brag, Lie, Lie
Announcer praise Josh
Put down players, put down University of Memphis
Delusional Talk from Josh, More delusional Talk from Josh
Announcers agree with Josh
Stupid talk from Josh
Coming from you I now believe this unbelievable trashing of our program. He knew when he said these things he was gone.
