I've thought other fans were delusional, but this takes the cake. When was the last time they went to the NCAA tournament??? I realize their football program has been successful as of late, but they're talking like they are a national power in basketball.

Never.

In their 21 seasons since becoming a Division I program, they not only haven't been to a single NCAA tournament...but they haven't been in ANY post-season basketball tournament.

They had success when they were division II, but since the move to DI, they have only had three winning seasons. It's nice that they won the DII National Championship, but that's not DI. Nice try chickens.

Promoting from within is a sign of good health of the program. They can laugh or make snide comments but doesn't change that they aren't on the same planet as UAB basketball. Not today, not ever.

They have never committed to basketball since they went DI Just this past year they finally put AC in the coliseum. Let that sink in minute. Now the arena is refurbished and looks a lot better. Their new AD is a great guy and a personal friend and is very respectful of UAB. That's a pitiful bunch on that site. We have some BlazerClub members that are JSU supporters and are great folks.

Maybe I should smite gemofthehills?
