LSU has developed their gymnastic program to the point where 13,000 attendance is considered routine. The little girls, age like 6-7 up to 13-14 are absolutely fanatical about this sport and drag their moms, dads, etc to every event. It appeals to only a demographic segment of the population and USM would be close to LSU in that respect. Very few care about soccer, wrestling, rowing, swimming, etc but the little girls of which there are many will see that the house if full.

Gymnastics can be a revenue generator. All of the club gymnastics girls love to go to college gymnastics. Also it is one of the best fan friendly events. They are awesome to watch. LSU is selling out the pmac for it. And actually has over 7 thousand season tickets. Compared to a couple of thousand that show up for women's basketball.

Track yes...
Tennis.. likely
Golf... Not so sure on that one.. That one can usually garner a few sponsorships, especially in the south
