Great tough win against a talented A&M team that came in here looking to rebound from their bad weekend and preserve their 25-game midweek win streak.

Also, that is seven straight games of holding our opponents to 3 runs or less.

Great job all.

I dunno - UH lost at a talented McNeese State team by a narrow 4-1 score today.

If we win the series against UAB this weekend, you think this puts us in the top 25 next week?

TAMU-CC had a nice win (shutting out Texas 5-0 in Austin) so it wasn't a total wipeout tonight for the TAMU school system.

D1 would probably move us in to the rankings. Baseball America already has us at 25.

Just got back from the game. Very large crowd, good atmosphere. Not much for the Aggies to cheer about. Owl pitchers held their gaudy BA's in check.

Glad for Kopy to have the big stroke that proved to be the winning runs.

And for the Aggies, playing Rice will improve their OOC SOS! They need it.

He got a super-clutch hit on Sunday, as well.

A beautiful night for outdoor baseball!
A full house. Lots of noise and excitement.
And, Princes ran out of chicken tenders and french fries...
All around, a plus for the Owls!!!!!

Pitched him 2 innings on Sunday and then came back tonight. Just saying. If you are going to ride only 5 guys with 4 games a week you are putting arms at risk. Hope he is OK but did we really need to throw him with a 5 run lead if the Tuesday starter.

Give me a break. He faced just 6 batters on Sunday; doubt he threw more than 25 pitches. And I'm sure he was on a strict pitch count today. There was absolutely no overuse in Amador pitching today. Stop with your obvious agenda.

If it's only 2 - 3 weeks, that's gravy. Must be a relatively minor break/fracture. A fractured bone usually takes 6 - 8 weeks, depending on the bone and location.

Hamate bone: injured swinging bat.
