He was asked if he'd want to play Bama. He replied that he would but it doesnt seem likely, that history has dictated that Bama just isn't interested.

Eventually maybe the media will ask UA administrators and coaches this question instead of UAB.

They ask the coaches at Bama and most pass it off as "not their decision."

Well, maybe they should start asking the AD at ua.

Once upon a time, in one of al.com's live chats, and back when I thought playing them was a good idea, I asked Mal Moore why they don't play.

His reply: "We have no plans to play UAB at this time."

My reply: "Well, why don't you make some?"

His reply was not to reply.

Any news on asst coaches or, perhaps more importantly, a strengtn and conditioning coach?

I bet Kevin Devitt is one of them. He was at the press conference. Can't imagine why else he would have been there...
